How I Style Jumpsuits in Summer

Jumpsuit: Stradivarius // Mules: Boohoo // Bag: Ubud Art Market in Bali // Top: Urban Outfitters // Necklace: Depop

The British summertime can be complex and unpredictable with its heat waves and rainy showers, so styling outfits can often involve lots of layers, a spare coat, a change of clothing, a pair of wellies and no doubt an umbrella. I think us Brits are seasoned pros when it comes to layering during the summer months, and jumpsuits are a perfect staple piece to do this with. After purchasing the same item in black last year and wearing it to death, I recently picked up this jumpsuit from Stradivarius and I've found it super versatile and comfortable to throw on, especially for a recent long-haul flight to Bali. I love pairing an item like this with a cropped form-fitting top layered underneath, or even with a t-shirt worn over the top and tied in a knot at the waist. I'm also partial to wearing a cropped sweater over a jumpsuit during the transition into cooler climates- the options really are endless! You never know when the weather in the UK is going to take a turn for the worst so layering is key to avoiding mishaps, and jumpsuits in my opinion are an integral piece within any capsule wardrobe.

Culotte jumpsuits especially are a favourite of mine as they are super comfortable, to the point where I could probably live in one if I had to. Warehouse* have some gorgeous culotte jumpsuits available at the moment in a range of prints and styles- perfect for wherever you plan on spending the Summer, as well as transitioning into the Autumn. I'm particularly coveting the pieces with block red colouring as lately I've been straying away from my usual blacks and greys and dipping my toe into this bolder trend.

What are your favourite ways to style jumpsuits?
